No daughter ever loved her dad and mom more than Ashley loved her adopted parents. Yet Ashley was still haunted by questions about where she came from, and the people who had biologically created her. She had spent years searching for information on them, but all she knew for certain was her biological mother's address and location at the time Ashley was born.

The adoption agency to which Haley had been surrendered as an infant refused to provide her any more details about her birth parents, and her thousands of hours spent scouring the Internet with her birth mother's name had proved fruitless. Haley had never felt more discouraged about her chances of locating her biological parents, yet she knew they were the only ones in the world who could answer her questions about herself.

Ashley wondered which of her birth parents she most closely resembled. She wondered why they had found it necessary to surrender her for adoption. But most of all, she wanted to let them know that she was well, happy, and had very grateful for the chance to have a wonderful life with her adoptive mom and dad.

Ashley struggled on with her search so that she could finally meet and talk to her birth parents, or simply to know if they were still living and their locations. But she was almost ready to admit that she'd run out of ideas when she made one last trip to the adoption agency and talked with a new employee.

She wondered if this woman would give her the information she needed. As she asked, the woman began to shake her head before Haley even finished her question. Apologetically, the woman told Haley that she couldn't give out any information.

But then Haley was taken completely by surprise. The adoption agency staffer told her that while the agency couldn't answer her questions, there was a website which could help her locate her birth parents. With the site's URL hastily scribbled on a scrap of paper, Haley rushed home and immediately logged onto the site, which was a reverse records website. She anxiously typed her biological mother's name into the search box.

And all at once, Haley's search was over! The website immediately provided her birth mother's address and phone number, and did in seconds what Haley had been unable to do in years. Haley could now write to her birth mother, or even phone her and hear her voice for the very first time.

Within seconds, the website provided her with a new address and phone number. Haley absolutely could not believe it. All these years she had searched and within seconds, she had found out where her real mother was. After coming to terms with the situation, Haley finally dialed the number that had popped up on the website.

When the woman's voice answered, Haley said, "Hi. My name is Haley and I am looking for my birth mother. Did you give a baby girl up for adoption thirty three years ago?" There was a long pause and the woman on the other line began to sob.

Although Ashley has still not been able to meet her biological father, they speak on the phone from time to time. And Ashley will never forget the adoption agency employee who gave her the URL of that website.
