Sleeping on a bad bed is no better for you then sleeping on the cold hard ground. The concept is keeping your spine aligned as much as possible throughout the night. When you are able to do this the result is a more comfortable night's rest which will leave you feeling more energized and ready for the day the next morning.

What type of pillow is best?

With so many sizes and shapes of pillows to choose from, how will you know which one to choose? Well the truth is that it is up to your own preferences, but making sure that you are getting a pillow that can support you is more important then getting one that is as fluffy as possible.

Knee pillows and hotdogs can help you sleep better.

It does not matter if you sleep on your back or on your side, elevating your knees is important for good circulation. Hotdog pillows can raise your knees into a more comfortable position while body pillows can keep them from making contact with each other while sleeping on your side.

Broken springs and bent frames.

Replacing the double mattress before the springs break and replacing the frame before it bends is important. Broken springs and bent bed frames can lead to an uncomfortable night's rest which can affect your entire day.

Elevation for a longer life!

When your knees and head are properly elevated, you increase your circulation as you sleep. This can help those suffering from diabetes and heart conditions or even those who have a family history of such conditions.

Bed time stretching!

Everyone stretches in the morning when they wake up after laying in the same position all night long, but did you know that if you were to do some simple stretches prior to lying down for the night you will fall asleep faster and have a better night's rest then if you did not? Stretch before bed to make sure your neck and back enjoy their sleep better.

No matter how you choose to look at it. We spend a third of our lifetime sleeping and even more in an inclined position. Making sure that your neck and back are properly supported during these times is important. The neck and back are designed for supporting our bodies while standing up; not laying down so we need to make sure that we support our neck and back when it cannot.
