There are actually only three different products people sell in the MLM industry.
The first product that you can market in your MLM is your actual company product. This is the realm of more than 80% of MLM distributors - attempting to make sales by talking about how 'exciting' their new magic lotion is. Now I don't want you to misunderstand - I like magic lotion as much as the next guy. You could replace the term 'magic lotion' with any of the other myriad of products that are sold in the MLM profession.
The unfortunate thing about focusing your Network Marketing Sales on your company product is that you probably aren't having much success doing it. I know, there was that one guy who your friend Bill knew who knew a gal named Susan who had an uncle who got rich wearing a shirt that said 'I swam naked in algae' - but is it working for you?
The second product you can be selling in your MLM business is your opportunity. As they say in Amway 'sell the dream'. The most difficult thing I've ever done to make money was when I called everyone I knew, and invited them to my house to 'show them the plan' when I first got started in Network Marketing.
It would almost be easier to convince an elephant to become a bird. Seriously - I'm not saying this as someone who hasn't been successful doing home meetings - I built an organization of over 1000 people in 6 months, part time doing nothing but home meetings and hotel meetings. You know what though? It was a pain in the rear.
I had to give up church, friends, social gatherings, movie nights, you name it - all for the sake of 'the dream'... I couldn't even go on dates.

My point is - who cares that I made money. It sucked. I would rather eat plain butter.
So if you take away the products, and you take away the opportunity - what is there left to sell?
