People create music (Real musicians) to express themselves. It’s just how the process works. If you like a particular song or think you can related to it in a much more deeper sense, than it just a bonus for the artist who created it. Lyrics to a song or good lyrics can really change a person’s view on things in the most non-threatening and non violent way.

Yes the meaning of music is globally the same, but what if you know the language of a particular culture, you seem to understand music a lot more than just a mere translated version.
