After my favorite coffee maker decided to quit working, I realize how much I depended on it each and every morning to provide me with a fresh cup of coffee. Sure, I tried to go to coffee shop and buy a cup of coffee every day but it sure gets expensive compared to making it at home.
Instead of just running out of the store to pick up some cheap coffee maker, I decided that I would check out the Internet to see if I could find the best coffee makers that were available on the market. I figured if I were to buy the best coffee maker, that I shouldn’t have any problems for at least a couple years.
I simply went to the computer and did a search for the best coffee pot in a search engine. I found a review website that had reviews for all the major brands and I made a short list of the best ones on the market. I am going to go down to the store later today with my list and pick one of them out.
It sure will be nice to make coffee at home again.

When my wife decided that she wanted to go to beauty school, I didn’t really think much of it. I just assumed that she would go to any school just to get her training and that she didn’t really care which one it was.
Well, I was wrong.
In fact, she was insulted that I thought that she just wanted to go to a plain-Jane hair school in our little town. I guess I was expected to know better and know that she wanted to learn from the best, irrespective of how far she had to travel.
So, she enrolled herself in the prestigious Beauty Academy and she hopes to be working next year in a classy salon. I suppose that goal should be attainable since the school she is attending is run by one of the best teachers around.

After the company that my wife worked for went through some corporate restructuring, they found themselves with a smaller workforce and the need to hire some new staff. But it wasn’t going to be easy as most of the HR department was being moved to Australia, and they would have to hire their staff there.
Management wanted the company to be able to work at full capacity as soon as the new office was opened which was going to be a challenge. They decided that the only way to do this was to post jobs in Australia online so that they would have a group of candidates ready for interviews as soon as they landed.
They posted HR jobs in Australia, some IT jobs and some cleaning jobs on a number of sites. As it turned out, they were able to fill all the positions just before the new office opened which made upper management very happy.

As a child, I spent hours watching my parents organize their stamp collection. I learned of many far away places and things that I wanted to see when I was older by watching them organize their stamps. But at the same time, I learned quickly that there wasn’t an efficient way to organize the collection and keep track of what they had - at least not when I was a kid.
But as I grew older and computer software became more sophisticated, I learned that there were software packages that were available that would allow anyone to keep track of their collections easily.
In fact, I bought my parents the Stamp Collection Wizard that allowed them to inventory each and every stamp they had in their possession. It worked out well as they needed to know what they had for insurance purchases.
I also use the Coin Collection Wizard to keep track of the coins that I have in my possession. Since they are all over the house, by using the software, I have a better idea of what I have and what needs to be replaced should it ever go missing.

When I was in college, I was interested in photography as a hobby, so I decided to take a summer job as an intern at a stock photography agency. It was the worst thing that I ever did, as it totally changed my mind in perusing taking pictures as a hobby.
The work was extremely boring and tedious. One of my major tasks was going over every single photo that was submitted with a fine tooth comb for any flaws that would need to be repaired. I knew that it was one of the larger stock photos royalty free companies in the city and I knew it would be a lot of work, but I figured it would be a little bit more glamorous than that.
Summer could not end fast enough for me. I was never so glad to be back in classes and to this day, I could care less to see another stock photo again for as long as I live.

I have to admit that I am not the brightest when it comes to computers. A good example is this blog - though it is simple and anyone should be able to do it, I needed help to make it work.
But to compensate for this deficiency, I have assembled a group of friends that are very knowledgeable on the subjects that I struggle with and I rely on them for advice.
A good example would be the last problem that I had with my computer. You see, there was some spyware that must have got on it and it was acting really weird, and I didn’t know what to do.
So, I asked a computer repair friend of mine and asked what I should do. He suggested that I use a piece of software called SpyHunter to search and remove all the bad programs from my computer.
After following his advice and trying it out for myself, I decided to write my own SpyHunter review and share it online so that everyone could benefit from what I found out.

If you are a parent of younger children just like I am, be warned that getting that new LCD television might not be the best idea. Just keep reading to learn why it might not be the best idea, and if you do get one, how to protect it from your kids.
You see, I had the bright idea one day to buy a 32" LCD TV to replace our old tube TV that we had for years. I wanted to get a high definition television as it is the way things are going and I wanted to make sure that we didn’t just waste our money buying an ancient TV.
After taking it home and setting it up, you could clearly see the difference. I was rather proud of my purchase and was looking forward to spending a lot of time in front of the television.
At least I thought this way before my daughter got to the TV. She decided that she would color all over it with a pen, and in the end, my television was ruined. I was mad that the salesman had not suggested some TV screen protectors as an add-on to my purchase. It would have saved my television and some of my money.
So, when I went to pickup a new TV, I made sure to buy a TV screen protector too. I don’t want to go through what I did ever again.

One of the things that I find living in North America is that we have our own holidays and customs. If you have never traveled outside of the country, then you would be unaware that other parts of the world have their own special days as well.
A good example would be the one that I found on a dating blog. Now, I came across this blog by accident, but I found the content interesting so I took a read.
What I learned is that over in Japan and Korea, they celebrate White day which is very similar to our Valentines day. The difference being that it is on March 14th, and they also observe some other customs.
Now, you could look at this as something new and embrace it - instead of taking your wife out just for Valentines day, you could always take a trip and celebrate other romantic holidays around the world.
