How good it is each Easter time to see signs of new life all around us. The buds and blossom remind us that at long last summer is on the way!
And yet, this stands out in stark contrast to the darkness and despair that can haunt our lives... fear of unemployment.. family problems.. money worries.. or for many just the dull, empty routine of daily living. Yes, the future can look pretty bleak for all too many of us, no matter the changing seasons... until we seriously consider the real meaning of Easter...
New Hope
Easy, isn't it... to believe that Easter today has less to offer than the Lottery! And yet, a better quality of living will never get to the heart of the problem... and no matter how hard we try to live a decent life...

New Direction
Natural, isn't it... to think of Good Friday as a defeat when it was really the greatest victory of all time... God the Father sending His Son, to die on the Cross of Calvary, so that the likes of us might be restored to a right relationship with Him...
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous,
to bring you to God.

Of course, contrary to much popular belief, this doesn't put us right with God automatically. We must be ready for a change of heart and for our daily lives to change direction. With His help we're called to turn away from all we know to be wrong and seek His forgiveness.
New Life
Tremendous, isn't it... to know that Christ Jesus was raised to life that first Easter Day and that today if we're willing to ask Him into our lives, placing our future under His care and control, He makes us clean... on the inside...

New Outlook
Incredible, isn't it... that we can see Easter as only a holiday weekend and a handful of cream eggs... when it really is so much more. Almighty God reaching out to us in love, with the promise of life-changing fulfilment. So why not reach out to Him today...
